Introducing the HiSmile Research Center
All of our research, formulations and product testing is conducted in-house at our Australian headquarters, through our HiSmile Research Centre.

PAP+ clinical trial
The PAP+ clinical trial was a double-blind study, conducted by a third-party dentist. Each participant completed one ten-minute teeth whitening treatment.
100% achieve whiter teeth
61.9% achieved 3+ shades of whiteness

- 100% of participants achieved immediate results
- 61.9% of participants improved by more than 3 grades
- 0% of participants had allergies
- Average score improvement of 3.4 degrees
The maximum score is an improvement of 8 points
About the PAP+ clinical trial
The PAP+ clinical trial was conducted by an outside dentist at an outside facility and included 44 subjects aged 19 to 55 years.
Each participant completed one ten-minute teeth whitening treatment using a “new whitening formula” in unbranded packages.
50% of participants received a placebo, while the other 50% received the PAP+ combination.
The trial was double-blind, meaning that neither the dentist nor the participants knew what treatment they were receiving.
Before and after treatment, participants were evaluated for tooth shade and level of sensitivity.
Tooth shadow increases were measured in person using the VITA Bleached Guide, and digitally with high-resolution photographs taken under controlled lighting conditions.
