Traditional whitening strips use a peroxide-based formula which can trigger tooth sensitivity. Hismile PAP+ Strips instead utilise a sensitivity-free PAP-based formula.

Phthalimidopropoxycaprotic acid (PAP):

A scientifically proven teeth whitening ingredient that is a safe alternative to peroxide. PAP has no negative side effects during the oxidation of tooth stains, which allows it to effectively whiten without pain or sensitivity.

Hydroxyapatite (HAp):

Hydroxyapatite is the main component of teeth. PAP+ formula contains a synthetic version nano-sized hydroxyapatite, which helps replace lost minerals in damaged parts of the enamel.

Potassium citrate:

Powerful desensitizing agent that helps relieve pre-existing allergies. It is absorbed in the tooth through the soft layer of dentin to provide permanent protection for the nerves from
pain and sensitivity.

How does the PAP+ whitening formula work?

When PAP+ formula whitens, it oxidizes tooth stains without releasing harmful molecules known as free radicals. These radicals are the damage to the enamel and cause severe sensitivity

Can HiSmile products be used with veneers, crowns, implants, bridges or dental bonds?

Veneers, crowns, implants, bridges, or dental bonding are not designed to whiten and require special care from a dentist. The PAP+ Whitening Formula oxidizes natural tooth stains, however, and may be beneficial in keeping your surrounding teeth the same shade as your dentist-treated teeth.
